• Instruction on the design process in both a creative and a technical sense.
• First hand instruction in the use of domestic knitting machines, including practical problem solving and useful tips on utilizing the machines in a creative way.
• Advice on the choice of various yarns, fabrics and other media and how to incorporate these into the design for use on a domestic knitting machine.
• Working from a theme to create a design.
• Complete a finished work based on the design.
