Organic gardening - we may time it right to link up with a course of hands-on and lecture tour studies run seasonally by Eddie and Caroline Robinson on their organic farm north of Bandon. Feed the soil not the plant, every insect counts and the more species the better, seed saving and rare varieties are all issues featured in the courses along with the obvious such as compost making, the suitability of varieties, correct pruning and storage. Among several delights of the day is a superb lunch of their own produce.
