Katrin Schwart

Katrin Schwart has been making baskets for many years and sells them from her workshop in County Cork. Originally from Germany, she was inspired by the tradition of basketmaking in the west of Ireland. Her baskets and structures are woven from willow of which she grows several varieties - creating her own style and involving her in every aspect of the craft.
